Historical Funds

Our team brings a strong track record of success. Across three prior funds—NTV Fund I, NTV Frontier Fund, and NTV Prosperity Fund—we’ve invested in just under 40 portfolio companies since our inception in 2018, with close to $100M in assets under management. Over time, our focus has remained consistent, but our investment criteria have become increasingly refined. We know what to look for, and we know how to help companies scale.

FUND I

About NTV Fund I

As our inaugural fund, NTV Fund I laid the foundation for our investment philosophy and approach. Comprised primarily of close friends, family, and early supporters, this fund was instrumental in shaping our long-term strategy and focus.

NTV Fund I followed our overarching investment philosophy. Our focus has remained consistent—partnering with companies where we could actively influence revenue and sales growth, promote operational discipline, and encourage sustainable, strategic spending.

We sought companies operating within Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business models. SaaS businesses offer scalability, low implementation costs, and rapid deployment to end users, while services-oriented companies complement this by driving efficiency, cost savings, and enhanced customer experiences. Together, these models align with our core belief in investing in companies that can deliver measurable growth and value creation.

About NTV Frontier Fund

The NTV Prosperity Fund invested primarily in Black and other minority-owned companies at the Seed and Series A stages. NTV took an active role by providing portfolio companies with access to experienced business advisors and networks, directly supporting each entrepreneur’s growth and long-term success.

The Fund concentrated on businesses utilizing a B2B Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model—valued for its low implementation costs, rapid deployment, and scalability. Companies selected for investment typically delivered strong value-added products and services in high-growth markets. In evaluating opportunities, the Fund gave meaningful consideration to investments that could expand job opportunities and economic impact within marginalized communities.

As Naples Technology Ventures’ third fund, the NTV Prosperity Fund allowed us to extend our financial and operational expertise to minority entrepreneurs and companies that have historically been underrepresented in venture capital. This initiative reflected our deep commitment to fostering inclusion and opportunity across diverse communities throughout the United States.

FRONTIER FUND

PROSPERITY FUND

About NTV Prosperity Fund

The NTV Frontier Fund followed our overarching investment philosophy, taking larger positions and leading more investment rounds than our inaugural NTV Fund. With these greater investments, we sought increased engagement, oversight, and Board representation to drive value creation within our portfolio companies.

The Fund focused on opportunities across AI/Machine Learning, Blockchain, IoT, Robotics, and other advanced technology sectors. Ideal portfolio companies within these areas operated with a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business model, offering low implementation costs, rapid deployment, and strong scalability. Additionally, companies that provided complementary services or support products alongside their core SaaS offerings were particularly attractive, as these diversified revenue streams and strengthened long-term growth potential.
